Freedom of Information Law requests
Direct requests to the Records Access Officer at the email, phone or mailing address listed above. The Freedom of Information request form may be found here.
Per the New York State Freedom of Information law, requests will receive an initial response within 5 business days of receipt. The Records Access Officer will respond within twenty business days from the date of the acknowledgement of the receipt of the request. Also as per the FOI Law, the City may charge $0.25/page for standard-size copies made to fulfill this request. There will be no charge for records provided via email or fax.
If this office can not comply with a request in this time frame, the Records Access Officer will notify requesters in writing with a reason for the inability to grant the request within the twenty business days.
