Memorial Walkway Renderings

The City of Oneonta

The City of Oneonta has proposed a redevelopment of the monument areas in Neahwa Park which will involve the reconfiguration of the current vehicular access to pedestrian.  The new walkway will replace an unnecessary vehicular roadway with a pedestrian path that will connect several recreational facilities in the park and provide an improved and beautiful setting for several existing memorials honoring veterans. The Memorial Walk will feature walkways, pavers, relocated and new monuments, lights, benches and the planting of deciduous trees. The project includes removal of pavement, earthwork/drainage, improvements and landscaping. The project may be completed in several phases.
