Baseball Skills Instruction - Three programs are
offered to teach young children basic, fundamental
baseball/softball skills in a non-competitive, engaging
atmosphere. The lessons are organized to mimic a
league atmosphere with children assigned to teams
and playing games rather then classes with a specific
lesson time. The focus is on teamwork,
sportsmanship, and fun. All three programs are held
in Neahwa Park at Ted Christman Field with
afternoon game times. All three programs are for
both boys and girls with tee-ball teaching the most
basic skills, softball for players ready to hit a pitched
ball for the first time, and baseball priming players
for little league major division play.
