Brief History

The Wastewater Plant was built in 1973-74.  The plant was put into operation in 1974.  The plant underwent a major upgrade in 1994 to enhance the ammonia and sludge removal processes.  It is owned and operated by the City of Oneonta.
 

Services Provided

The Wastewater Plant serves the City of Oneonta, the Town of Oneonta and accepts septage from the local septic haulers.  RV septic is also accepted at no charge.
