This is an exciting time for the Oneonta Police Department.  Our goals continue to be to make Oneonta a safer city for all our residents and many visitors, reduce crime, and work in partnership with you, the community.

To achieve this goal we have incorporated some of the newest technology available in law enforcement combined with traditional policing aimed towards building a better relationship with the entire community we serve.

One of the many tools we use to provide information and help educate our community members is this website.  One of our core values is to strive for "quality through continuous improvement."  We will continue to improve this site by making it easier to navigate, keeping it updated and making it more relevant to you, the user.
