The City Chamberlain is the Chief
Fiscal Officer of the City. As such, the Chamberlain’s
Office is responsible for the preparation and monitoring
of the annual budget, receipt and disbursement of all
moneys, accounting and all financial reporting,
investments, long and short-term debt issuance, and
city-wide computer and insurance oversight. The City
Chamberlain is also a representative of the City during
collective bargaining with the employee union groups. |
