Summer Events
Oneonta Farmer's Market
The Oneonta Farmer's Market will held in the Kim K.
Muller Plaza in front of the Clarion Hotel. Check
back periodically for this year's schedule. The Farmer's Market has
quality farm products and crafts produced by local
farmers and artists. Products available include berries,
corn, salad greens, baked goods, herbs, flowers,
pottery, organic meats, garlic, perennials, goat cheese,
organic eggs, wreaths, soaps, squash, zucchini and
tomatoes. The Farmer's Market also offers entertainment
and other events.
Summer Music Series
The City of Oneonta sponsors a
Summer Music Series each summer. The concerts are held
in Neahwa Park in the City's portable bandstand set-up
adjacent to Hodges Pond. The concerts are held on
Thursday evenings (unless otherwise noted) from 7 p.m.
to 8 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) rain or shine
(sunshine in the portable bandstand, rain in the large
pavilion).

Fall Events
Mayor's Cup Tournament
The Oneonta Mayor's Cup Soccer Tournament is the
longest running college soccer tournament in the country
and preparations are underway for the 32nd annual men's
tournament and the 12th annual women's tournament; both
with FREE ADMISSION. The City of Oneonta, better known
as "Soccertown USA" supports our two fine institutions
of higher education, Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta,
by helping them to bring in the highest level of
competition for both men's and women's soccer teams.
Mayor's Cup weekend is also highlighted with other
festivities including the Grand and Glorious Garage
Sale, a fund raiser for the Catskill Choral Society
which will be held on Main Street on September 10th.

2011 Pit Run
2011 marks the 18th year that The
Pit Run 10K has been held in Oneonta in memory of
Ricky J. "Pit" Parisian.
The race is really two different events-a sanctioned
10K race
and a community celebration consisting of a picnic,
walk, and children's fun
run. Both are designed to celebrate
Rick's life by bringing the community together for a
fun, healthy afternoon of outdoor activities.
